Online Guilford County Species Frequency List (eBird)

eBird is a real-time online checklist program operated by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society. By accumulating reports of bird sightings submitted by everyday birders, eBird compiles rich data for basic information on bird abundance and distribution. For more information about eBird, go to ebird.org.

eBird's Guilford County Species Frequency List shows weekly frequencies of 273 species throughout the year for Guilford County, based on observations reported to the eBird system. The list is dynamic, updating as fresh observations are entered over time. On the list, you can also click to see a map of where a particular species was observed, as well as other data gleaned from the submitted reports.

eBird Hot Spots shows a list of specific Guilford County locations, such as the Greensboro Bog Garden and Lake Higgins. Clicking on a "hot spot" in the list shows a list of species reported at the site through eBird, as well as other useful information.
