About the Piedmont Bird Club

The Piedmont Bird Club was established in 1938. Besides our focus on birds, Club members also take an interest in nature in general and in the conservation of our natural resources. Membership is open to anyone interested in the study and protection of birds. See the Membership tab for more information on how to join.

Club activities include:

  • Birding trips to enjoy the beauty and variety of birds in the Piedmont area;
  • Meeting programs with information about local birding, unusual sightings, and talks about birds and other wildlife from experts in the field;
  • Community outreach activities to educate the public and contribute to making the Piedmont region a safe and hospitable place for birds and birding.

See  the “Activities” link and the links under it for more information on the Club’s upcoming activities.

PBC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Membership dues and other gifts are tax-deductible.
