About Us

The Piedmont Young Birders is a club that provides fun and interesting activities for middle and high school students to foster their interest in wild birds and their appreciation of the natural world. Membership is free and open to students age 12-18 who live in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.
Piedmont Young Birders is sponsored by the Piedmont Bird Club and the T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society, which provide the adult birders who lead our field trips, bird walks, and other activities. |
