2025 PBC Holiday Celebration – Ring in the Holidays with Birding Friends


The Piedmont Bird Club will hold its annual Holiday Celebration on Tuesday, December 9, from 5:00-8:30 p.m. PBC members and their guests will flock together at Haw River State Park in the Heron's Roost Room (339 Conference Center Dr, Browns Summit, NC 27214) for an evening of food, friends, photos and prizes. 

Social time begins at 5 p.m. and the catered buffet dinner begins at 6 p.m. It will feature a choice of meat, fish or vegetarian entrée, side dish options, dessert, and beverages.
After dinner we will enjoy a photo slideshow showcasing our members' amazing bird and nature photography, then we will give away door prizes. If you've taken bird photos or other nature-related photos that you'd like to share, contact Kellie Dentler, [email protected], for details.

The cost of the meal $26.00 per person. Reservations are required and must be received no later than Monday, November 17. Due to requirements from the caterer, late reservations cannot be accepted.

Guests can contribute to a fun evening by:
  • ​Bringing bird-related items to give away as door prizes
  • Bringing bird photos on a flash drive for the photo show ( be sure to contact Kellie Dentler)
