Nine bundled-up people braved the cold and snow to participate in the clean-up of our adopted park, Country Park. Despite being unable to see most of the ground due to the snow, everyone elected to proceed. As it turned out, the walk was very pleasant and some trash was actually collected and disposed. Most agreed that the activity was a welcome change from being trapped at home by the weather.
Cal Weimer has accumulated all the tools necessary for collecting litter, so all one needs to do to participate is to arrive at the appointed hour.
Cal reports that park personnel will no longer monitor the bird houses installed at the park. Any one interested in taking on that project, please contact Tom Wear at email@example.com.
Many thanks to all who participated.
