| The following
photos were taken during a bird banding demonstration by Tom Mowbray on
April 17th, 2004. We got to see a lot of things looking at the birds so
closely, like brood patches, and the intricate detail of the feather
patterns. It was a treat to get to touch and hold these creatures we
have been looking at so long through binoculars! Audrey Sheldon did a
great job of posing the birds for many of these shots. We are very
grateful to Tom for such a wonderful experience, and to Dennis Burnette
for setting it up. |
